Trip to Mcleodganj and Triund from Delhi Overview

The monsoon is here, and it’s time to meet the mountains. And that too, the most splendid mountains of Himachal Pradesh.

As we all know, Himachal Pradesh is the land of gods that makes the mountains more exotic and beautiful to everyone’s eyes. That adds more to Himachal tourism and offers numerous landscape and adventure treks to travellers or backpackers. And if you are done with the monotonous schedule and looking for a crisp tour to the mountains in the coming days, then we have the most suited trip for you. Plus, it also involves a trek in it. Don’t worry; it is an easy one.

The trip includes the Mcleodganj-Triund trek in one of the most solitary cities of Himachal Pradesh and is known as Dharamshala. This Tibetan government-in-exile place is home to the Dalai Lama. Besides mesmerising waterfalls and exotic treks, this small city can easily surprise you with what more it can offer you, including a peaceful Buddhist monastery, ever-changing weather, lip-smacking food, and soulful eye-views of the magnificent mountain ranges.

Let us guide you on making this Mcleodganj-Triund trek your best trip this year.

Welcome To The Land Of Gods!

Dharamshala has two parts, namely lower Dharamshala and upper Dharamshala. The upper part is Mcleodganj, and lower Dharamshala, which will come on the way if you go by any means either by air or by road.

How to reach?

If you opt for air travel, you will land at gaggle airport, Kangra, a half-hour distance from lower Dharamshala. However, you will directly deboard by bus/taxi at a local depot in lower Dharamshala if you plan it by road. At the depot, you can get taxis to Mcleodganj. It would take around half an hour max.
